Every piece in the studio begins as a lump of clay on the wheel and ends as something you'll reach for every day. I work in small batches, glaze by hand, and let each mug, bowl, and vase keep the marks of how it was made. No two are exactly alike — that's the point. I'd rather make a few pieces I'm proud of than a shelf full of pieces I'm not.
